The

Monster

under my bed

This urban-style men’s clothing collection explores fear through design. Using quilting techniques, it plays with volume and shapes to bring the concept to life, transforming fear into a visual and textile expression.

Concept

As we grow, our fears change, but they never disappear. Uncertainty, failure, loneliness, routine… They transform into shadows that follow us, echoes of our own doubts. This collection reinterprets those adult fears through a childlike perspective, where the most terrifying thing in life was the monster under your bed.

Through exaggerated proportions and playful distortions, the collection brings those childhood visions to life, reminding us that fear is not just something to overcome—it’s something to understand. Here, monsters are not just symbols of what haunts us; they are a reflection of the imagination, the unknown, and the untamed spirit of growing up.

The Monster Under My Bed is more than a fashion label—it’s a narrative universe where adult fears come to life through monstrous characters that feel oddly familiar. Each piece of clothing becomes part of a story, and every story reflects something real: anxiety, loneliness, failure, the fear of being forgotten.

On Instagram, this vision comes to life through a “monstera-verse”—a digital playground populated by monsters based on adult fears. Each character has a name, personality, and backstory that speaks to the emotional weight we carry as we grow. These monsters don’t hide under your bed—they walk with you, evolve with you, and help you face what used to scare you in silence.

At the heart of the collection is modularity and personalization. The clothing is designed to shift and adapt, just like the self:

  • The pants transform into shorts by detaching the padded boots.

  • The jacket evolves as users swap or remove the spikes on the back.

  • Accessories like horns, boots, or spikes are offered as interchangeable parts, allowing users to shape their monster—and their armor—to reflect their own journey.

This approach empowers wearers to engage creatively with their clothing while emotionally connecting with a narrative that mirrors their inner world. It’s streetwear that listens, adapts, and speaks back.

Fear becomes fashion. Monsters become mirrors.
And growing up becomes a story you get to rewrite.
